Strawberry and Blueberry jam

Ingredients

  • 1 punnet of cut strawberries
  • 1/2 cup of blueberries
  • 3.5 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon of arrowroot powder

Preparation

  1. Place your cut strawberries, blueberries and maple syrup in a pan

  2. Cook for 10 minutes on medium heat

  3. Remove from stove and use a stick blender to make the fruit smooth

  4. In a bowl add your lemon juice and arrowroot powder and mix, then added to your cooked jam

  5. Place the pan back on the stove and let it simmer for another 10 minutes

  6. Turn the stove off and let it cool down

  7. Once cooled place the cooked jam in a sterilised jar and refrigerate
