Apple and Cinnamon Scones

Ingredients

  • 150g self raising flour (I use gluten free)
  • 4 tbsp lemonade or sparkling water
  • 2 tbsp vanilla yogurt (I use soya)
  • 1 tbsp apple sauce or purée
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp sweetener or maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180C, 350F, gas mark 4.

  2. Put all of the ingredients into a bowl and stir with a spoon until the mixture becomes a dough consistency.

  3. Put the dough onto a floured surface and use a knife to cut it into four pieces.

  4. Roll each bit of dough into a ball and flatten the top slightly.

  5. Place them all on a greaseproof baking tray.

  6. Oven bake for 12 minutes.

  7. Slice and top them with extra apple puree, more yoghurt and serve warm.
