Apple and Cinnamon Scones
Ingredients
- 150g self raising flour (I use gluten free)
- 4 tbsp lemonade or sparkling water
- 2 tbsp vanilla yogurt (I use soya)
- 1 tbsp apple sauce or purée
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp sweetener or maple syrup
Preparation
Pre-heat oven to 180C, 350F, gas mark 4.
Put all of the ingredients into a bowl and stir with a spoon until the mixture becomes a dough consistency.
Put the dough onto a floured surface and use a knife to cut it into four pieces.
Roll each bit of dough into a ball and flatten the top slightly.
Place them all on a greaseproof baking tray.
Oven bake for 12 minutes.
Slice and top them with extra apple puree, more yoghurt and serve warm.
