Baked Tofu with Thai Peanut Marinade

Ingredients

  • extra firm tofu
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1.5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • juice from half a lime
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • optional spices or herbs

Preparation

  1. Press extra firm tofu for at least 30 minutes (optional).

  2. Cut tofu into cubes or slabs and place them in a glass dish.

  3. Add a sauce or marinade over the tofu.

  4. Transfer tofu cubes to a baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 30-40 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  5. Add more marinade as needed and the tofu is ready to use.

  6. You can also cube, slice or crumble tofu and pan-fry it as an alternative.
