Baked Tofu with Thai Peanut Marinade
Ingredients
- extra firm tofu
- 3 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1.5 tablespoons soy sauce
- juice from half a lime
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- optional spices or herbs
Preparation
Press extra firm tofu for at least 30 minutes (optional).
Cut tofu into cubes or slabs and place them in a glass dish.
Add a sauce or marinade over the tofu.
Transfer tofu cubes to a baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 30-40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Add more marinade as needed and the tofu is ready to use.
You can also cube, slice or crumble tofu and pan-fry it as an alternative.
