Big Mac Casserole

Ingredients

  • 675g mined beef (12% fat here)
  • 1 small onion - diced
  • 1 tbsp garlic salt
  • 2 tbsp worcester sauce
  • 100g philadelphia cheese (i used full fat)
  • 1 tbsp gherkin pickle juice
  • 150g grated cheddar (full fat here)
  • shredded iceberg lettuce
  • sliced gherkins
  • method :
  • stir until all melted and mixed through.
  • top with shredded lettuce, burger sauce and gherkins then serve.

Preparation

  1. Fry off the mince with the diced onion, garlic salt and worcester sauce

  2. Drain and stir in the philly cheese, half the grated cheddar and tbsp gherkin juice

  3. Stir until all melted and mixed through

  4. Tip into an ovenproof dish, top with the rest of the cheese and cook in the oven at 180°c for 15 minutes

  5. Top with shredded lettuce, burger sauce and gherkins then serve

  7. Tasted great and definitely up a level from the standard burger in a bowl, highly recommend ? and we'll be making it again
