Kale Kohlrabi Soup


  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 kohlrabi
  • 3 kale stem
  • salt and white pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp sour cream .
  • 1.5 l water or vegetable stock
  • 1 chopped onion


  1. Heat the butter in a large pot over medium high heat. Add the onions and the kohlrabi cubes and saute until golden brown, 5-8 minutes. Add the broth ( or water) and the kale; simmer for 5-10 minutes until the kale softens and becomes a darker green, sprinkle with salt and pepper

  2. When the vegetables are well cooked blend them till you get a smooth texture then add the sour cream and stir
