Paneer Bhurji

Ingredients

  • musturd oil
  • 1 stick of cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp zeera
  • 1/2 tsp ajwain
  • 2 grounded black cardamoms
  • 2 cloves

Preparation

  1. Chop one medium size lauki into small pieces

  2. In a wok, take some musturd oil and add 1 stick of cinnamon, 1/2 tsp zeera, 1/2 tsp ajwain, 2 grounded black cardamoms, 2 cloves

  3. Saute all the spices for 2-3 min and add chopped lauki, let it cook till it becomes soft

  4. Now switch off the flame and add 1 cup of whisked yogurt

  5. Add water depending on the consistency you want

  6. I kept it little thin since we like that way

  7. Now again cook it for 10 min

  8. Add salt, red chilli powder

  9. For tadka, take some ghee in a pan, heat it, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and some chopped green chillies

  10. Add this tadka to the curry and let it simmer for 5 min

  11. Garnish it with fresh corriander & it's done
