Canneloni

Ingredients

  • canelloni pasta
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • a few drops of liquid smoke
  • 2 tbsp soya (dark)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable fond
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • vegan cheese, grated (i used 1/2 block)
  • 400ml tomato sauce
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Fry spinach in oil and garlic

  2. Add vegan soya mince

  3. Fry for 5-10 minutes

  4. Add a few drops of liquid smoke

  5. Tbsp soya

  6. Tbsp tomato paste

  7. Tbsp vegetable fond

  8. Garlic and salt

  9. Vegan cheese

  10. Allow to fry for another 5-10 minutes while you make the tomato sauve

  11. Either use a premade good quality flavoured tomato sauce or make your own

  12. Heat 400ml tomato sauce. Add 4 garlic cloves. 1/2tbsp sugar. Salt and pepper. Allow to simmer for 5-10 minutes

  13. Preheat oven to 190 C. Grease a baking form

  14. Fill the canelloni with the filling and place in the form. Repeat. Pour over the tomato sauce. Add grated cheese on top. Bake in the oven c.a 30 minutes

  15. Eat warm with a salad
