Chinese Mince

Ingredients

  • 4 spring onions
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic

Preparation

  1. Chopped and fried 4 spring onions in sesame oil

  2. Added chopped mushrooms and chopped carrot and cooked for another 5 mins

  3. I added 2 cloves of minced garlic and cooked for another min

  4. Then I added my mince- I used @vivavivera mince which is probs my fav

  5. Once it had cooked for a bit, I sprinkled the mixture with some cornstarch and then added about half a pint of vegetable stock

  6. I let that cook down and then added about 1 teaspoon of Chinese 5 spice, a tablespoon of soy sauce, and a sprinkling of chilli flakes (quantity will vary based on ur spice preference) and some frozen peas

  7. I let it cook down until the carrots were soft and then added a lil tiny squirt of ketchup and about 1 tablespoon of tomato paste

  8. Then I cooked the rice noodles- just soaked in boiling water for 10 mins

  9. Served and sprinkled with black sesame seeds
