Chinese Mince
Ingredients
- 4 spring onions
- 2 cloves of minced garlic
Preparation
Chopped and fried 4 spring onions in sesame oil
Added chopped mushrooms and chopped carrot and cooked for another 5 mins
I added 2 cloves of minced garlic and cooked for another min
Then I added my mince- I used @vivavivera mince which is probs my fav
Once it had cooked for a bit, I sprinkled the mixture with some cornstarch and then added about half a pint of vegetable stock
I let that cook down and then added about 1 teaspoon of Chinese 5 spice, a tablespoon of soy sauce, and a sprinkling of chilli flakes (quantity will vary based on ur spice preference) and some frozen peas
I let it cook down until the carrots were soft and then added a lil tiny squirt of ketchup and about 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
Then I cooked the rice noodles- just soaked in boiling water for 10 mins
Served and sprinkled with black sesame seeds
