Creamy Tahini Pasta with Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients
- Pasta
- Brussels sprouts
- Tofu or vegan chicken pieces (e.g., Fry's Family)
Tahini sauce
- 100ml runny tahini
- Approximately 120ml oat cream
- 2 garlic cloves
- Squeeze of lemon juice (about 1/2-1 tbsp)
- Approximately 1 tbsp vegetable fond
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp syrup or brown sugar (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Boil pasta.
Fry brussels sprouts and vegan chicken in a generous amount of oil.
Add the diced garlic.
Meanwhile, mix together the remaining sauce ingredients.
When the brussels sprouts and vegan chicken are golden brown, pour in the sauce ingredients.
Heat on medium, taste and adjust according to preference.
When the pasta is done, drain and add to the frying pan.
Simmer for 2-3 minutes until all combined.
Eat warm or cold and enjoy.
