Crispy Cauliflower Wings with Honey Mustard Sauce

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower florets
  • Oat flour (made from blending quick oats)
  • Almond milk
  • Salt
  • Smoked paprika
  • Garlic powder
  • Panko bread crumbs

Honey mustard components

  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • Smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons honey

Preparation

  1. Blend quick oats to make oat flour.

  2. Mix oat flour, almond milk, salt, smoked paprika, and garlic powder to create a batter.

  3. Dip each cauliflower floret in the batter.

  4. Roll the dipped florets in panko bread crumbs mixed with smoked paprika and garlic powder.

  5. Place on baking sheets lined with silicone mats.

  6. Bake at 400°F for 45 minutes.

  7. Meanwhile, mix 1/4 cup dijon mustard, 2 tablespoons yellow mustard, smoked paprika, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, and 4 tablespoons honey to make the sauce.

  8. Note: Baking time may need to be extended beyond the original 25 minutes for crispiness.
