Crispy Tofu with Sriracha Mayo

Ingredients

  • 200 g firm tofu
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • + salt & pepper
  • 1-2 dl oatmilk
  • 1-2 dl panko breadcrumbs

Sriracha mayo

  • 4 tbsp vegan mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • Juice from 1/2 lime

Preparation

  1. Chop tofu into cubes.

  2. In a bowl, add corn starch, nutritional yeast, salt and pepper.

  3. In another bowl, add oat milk.

  4. In a third bowl, add panko breadcrumbs.

  5. Dip each tofu cube first in the corn starch mixture, then in the oat milk and last in the panko.

  6. Fry on high heat in a pan with a good amount of rapeseed oil.

  7. Mix everything together for the sriracha mayo in a bowl.

  8. Serve with your tofu and enjoy.

Tips

  1. Use a small frying pan so you don’t have to use too much oil.
