Lentil Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1/2 bag soaked pardina lentils
  • Veggie broth
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Chili lime seasoning @traderjoes
  • Chili seasoning
  • Smoked paprika
  • Liquid coconut aminos @bragglivefoodproducts
  • Liquid smoke

Preparation

  1. Simmer lentils in pot with veggie broth just enough so they are covered

  2. The lentils need to cook until tender about 20-30 minutes

  3. Drain lentils and put in food processor or blender

  4. Pulse until roughly chopped but still have some whole pieces

  5. Transfer lentils onto hot pan with a little oil and more veggie broth

  6. They will dry out on the pan so rehydrate with veggie broth as needed to keep them moist)

  7. Add seasoning

  8. A couple dashes of each with suffice with some salt and pepper

  9. Season to your own taste preference
