Pepper and Sweet Chilli Tofu
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons of corn flour
- 4 tablespoons of tamari sauce
- 1 packet of firm tofu
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- pepper
- 2 red onions sliced
- 2 green peppers cut
- 2 red peppers cut
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- sunflower oil for shallow frying
- sesame seeds for garnishing
Preparation
Cut the tofu into cubes and set aside
In a bowl add the tamari sauce then the tofu, coat well and marinate for 5 minutes
Then drain
In a bowl add the flour then place the tofu and coat well
Shallow fry and set aside
In a bowl add 3 teaspoons of sweet chilli sauce, 3 teaspoons of maple syrup, 3 teaspoons of tamari sauce, 3 teaspoons of balsamic glaze and combine
Set aside
In a fry pan add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt and pepper
Add the peppers, onion and crushed garlic
Sauté for 10 minutes
Then add the tofu and prepared sauce and combine
