Rice and Almond Milk Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of uncooked rice
  • 3 cups of almond milk
  • 4 tbsp of orange blossom honey
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • dry roses
  • sliced almond for garnish and 2 tbsp of sugar

Preparation

  1. Wash the white rice until is clear, add 2 cups of water, bring to a boil and lower the heat, cook for 10 minutes or until water disappear

  2. In the meantime, heat up 3 cups of almond milk and 3 dry rose petals, add in 2 tbsp of sugar and followed by 4 tbsp of raw orange blossom honey

  3. Boil for about 5 minutes turn off the heat and remove rose petals

  4. When rice is cooked, add the almond milk and slowly cook on low heat for another 5 minutes, fold in 1/2 cup of shredded coconut

  5. Turn off the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes

  6. To serve: simply plate in a bowl, add more shredded coconut, drizzle more orange blossom honey, sliced almond,and some dry rose petals
