Vegan Honey BBQ Tofu
Ingredients
- 1 block (450g) firm tofu
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons agave syrup or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons oil
Preparation
Cut tofu into bite-sized triangle pieces.
Coat tofu with cornstarch.
Fry tofu in hot oil until lightly crispy on all sides and set aside.
Sauce
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan.
Add agave syrup and BBQ sauce, stir until reduced to a sticky consistency with bubbles.
Mix in the crispy tofu pieces until they are all coated.
