Almond Crusted Tofu Sticks
Ingredients
- 1 block extra firm tofu
- 2 tablespoons arrowroot powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon liquid aminos or soy sauce
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs made from crushed almonds
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Press the tofu to remove excess water and slice it into sticks
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Using a fork, dip each tofu stick in each coating bowl in the order listed.
Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Optionally, spray with a light coat of olive oil for extra crispness.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Serve with dipping sauces of choice, such as spicy tomato sauce, buffalo sauce, ranch, or sweet chili garlic sauce.
