Almond Crusted Tofu Sticks

Ingredients

  • 1 block extra firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons arrowroot powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon liquid aminos or soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs made from crushed almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess water and slice it into sticks

  2. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  3. Using a fork, dip each tofu stick in each coating bowl in the order listed.

  4. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Optionally, spray with a light coat of olive oil for extra crispness.

  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  6. Serve with dipping sauces of choice, such as spicy tomato sauce, buffalo sauce, ranch, or sweet chili garlic sauce.
