Beans on Toast

Ingredients

  • beans on toast ?
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 can kidney beans
  • 1 tbs oil
  • fresh basil to top

Preparation

  1. Heat up oil in a small skillet and saute onion + garlic until fragrant

  2. Then add in tomatoes and cook/mash until most of the juice is absorbed

  3. Add in beans and warm slightly

  4. Season and spoon into a slice of roasted sourdough bread
