Crisp Spinach Kale Fritters
Ingredients
- chickpea flour - 1 cup ( besan )
- rice flour - 2tbsp
- turmeric powder- 1/ 2 tsp
- pomegranate seeds- 1/2 tsp
- spinach leaves - 250 grams rinsed and chopped in halves
- salt to taste
- mango powder - 1tsp
- black pepper- 1/2 tsp
- cumin powder- 1/2 tsp
- red onions- 2 ( thinly cut )
- mustard oil for frying
- water - 1/2 cup or may be more
Preparation
In a bowl mix all the dry ingredients along with the water , make a thick consistency batter
Beat it with a wisk or use hands
Once your batter is ready add onions , spinach and mix well into the batter
Heat mustard oil at high flame, once it reaches to its smoking point, reduce your flame and let the temperature come down a bit , then add batter into the oil and deep fry your pakoras until light brown and crispy
Once done serve it with your corriander chutney and enjoy
