Crispy and Delicious Masoor Dal Vadas
Ingredients
- 1 cup masoor dal
- 1 small onion
- 1/2 inch ginger
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 green chillies
- 10 curry leaves
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- asafoetida
- salt to taste
- oil for frying
Preparation
Soak the masoor dal for 20 minutes.
Drain the dal well and make a coarse paste using a food processor instead of a blender.
Add all the ingredients to the paste.
Form the mixture into rounds.
Fry the rounds in hot oil until golden and crispy.
