Focaccia Bread

Ingredients

  • 450 grams wholemeal spelt flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (extra for drizzling)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 7 grams instant yeast
  • 425 mls of warm water

Preparation

  1. Place your flour in a bowl add your salt and yeast and combine

  2. Once combined add your oil and water and kneed for 6 minutes

  3. Dough will appear soft, which is the perfect texture

  4. In a rectangular non stick tray brush some olive oil with a sprinkle of flour and spread your dough and let it prove for 30 minutes

  5. Once proved sprinkle dried rosemary, salt and drizzle some olive oil
