Grain Free Vegan Horchata Beverage

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp raw cashew pieces (or almonds, peeled)
  • 2 to 4 soft medjool dates, pitted and snipped into bits
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Soak cashew pieces in water for 4 hours, then drain.

  2. In a blender, combine the cashews, dates, water, and cinnamon.

  3. Blend the ingredients until completely smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes.
