Homemade Japanese Golden Curry Roux

Ingredients

  • 8 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 tbsp wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp hot curry powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp paprika powder or yellow chilli powder

Preparation

  1. Cook the flour and oil on low heat for 20 minutes until golden.

  2. Add the spice blends and set aside to use in the curry.
