Homemade Jowar Poori with Wheat Flour

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Jowar flour
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon kasuri methi (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required for kneading and frying

Preparation

  1. Add water little by little and knead into a tight dough, not too soft.

  2. Rest the dough for 15 minutes.

  3. Roll the dough into pooris.

  4. Fry in hot oil until done.

  1. Using more Jowar flour may result in less puffing and a crunchier texture.
