Masoor Dal Vadas

Ingredients

  • 1 cup masoor dal soaked for 20 minutes
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 inch ginger finely chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic chopped
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 10 curry leaves chopped
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and asafoetida
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

Preparation

  1. Make a coarse paste of Masoor dal after soaking it for 20 minutes. Use the food processor instead of the blender and make sure the dal is well-drained. Tip in all the ingredients, make rounds and fry them
