Outrageously Smooth Hummus
Ingredients
- chickpeas
- TSP of baking soda
- salt and lemon
- tahini
- ice cold water
Preparation
Soak the chickpeas overnight
Pressure cook them with a TSP of baking soda (that helps to loosen the skin of the chickpeas)
Peel the chickpeas*
Blend with salt and lemon
Add the tahini (sesame paste) and blend
Add ice cold water, to adjust the consistency and blend.* Steps 3 and 6 will make all the difference in the texture of your hummus
