Palak & Methi Saag a Mix of Fresh Winter Greens Sans Any Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • Clean and wash a bunch of spinach and a cup of Methi leaves. Blanch them and grind into a smooth paste. I also grinded few corriander leaves (optional) along with it. Take 2 onions
  • few garlic cloves
  • a piece of ginger and green chillies. Grind into a paste. Take some ghee in wok
  • heat it and add whole red chilli (optional) a pinch of cinnamon powder and onion paste. Let it cook till all extra water is evaporated. Now add salt and spinach & methi puree. Cook it for 2-3 min and it's done. Add boiled corns or paneer if you wish. Also
  • add a second tadka of ghee along with some red chilli powder for some finger licking flavors
