Pea Fritters
Ingredients
- 200gms frozen peas - defrosted
- 75gms gram (chickpea) flour
- 75mls water
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- salt & pepper to taste (avoid salt for under 2’s)
- oil for frying
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients except the oil together in a bowl
Heat a little oil in a frying pan
Take 1 tablespoon of mix at a time, place in the hot frying pan and flatten into a fritter shape
Fry for a couple of minutes on a low heat and then flip
Cook on the other side for a couple of minutes until cooked through
Serve right away with avocado chutney
Sprinkle chilli flakes/slices for adults to serve
