Vegan Breakfast
Ingredients
- 1 tsp olive oil⠀
- 1 tsp garlic puree/ 1 fresh clove crushed⠀
- 1/4 tsp turmeric (for yellow colour)⠀
- 1/4 tsp dijon mustard (for a little warmth)⠀
- 1/2 tsp marjoram (or mixed herbs)⠀
- 1 generous tbsp nutritional yeast (for vitamins)⠀
- 50ml oat milk (creaminess) ⠀
- pinch of sea salt (i use @maldonsalt)⠀
Preparation
Use a bread knife to slice your bread.⠀
Put the olive oil and garlic puree in a pan on medium heat. Then add the tofu and use a fork to mash it up in the pan. Protect your non-stick pans by mashing it in a bowl before adding it to the pan. ⠀
Take it off the heat and add the remaining ingredients (except the toppings).⠀
Place back over the heat and use a wooden spoon to combine all the ingredients together well. Leave to simmer on a low heat for 6-8mins. ⠀
Whack your toast on and prepare your toppings⠀
Serve up and voila
