Ingredients

  • Dough
  • 4 cups (500 g) flour (spelt, or whole wheat flour, ap flour)
  • 1 1/4 cups (300ml) almond milk
  • 1 pack active dry yeast
  • 2 tbsp (25 g) cashew butter or coconut oil
  • 1.75 tbsp (25g) sugar alternative such as coconut sugar, maple syrup, date sweetener etc
  • Filling
  • 2 cups (200 g) hazelnut flour
  • 7 oz (200 g) dried dates, soaked
  • 1/3 cup (75 g) plant drink
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Icing
  • 1/2 cup (50g) raw cane sugar blend in powder
  • 1 tsp tapioca starch
  • 1-2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
