Two-Ingredient Chocolate Mousse Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 large apples (about 600 grams)
  • 400 grams dark chocolate
  • 150 milliliters water

Optional additions

  • Ground cinnamon (to taste)
  • Maple syrup (to taste)
  • Salt (a pinch)

Preparation

  1. Place the apples in a saucepan and add 150 milliliters of water

  2. Cover with a lid and cook gently for 10 to 15 minutes on medium heat

  3. Let the apples cool and then put them in the blender

  4. Melt the dark chocolate and add it to the blender

  5. Optionally add some cinnamon, maple syrup and or a pinch of salt and blend until smooth and creamy

  6. Pour the chocolate mousse into a tart tin lined with baking paper and refrigerate for at least 4 hours

  7. Cut into pieces and serve as a dessert

Tips

  1. Add a hint of orange juice or orange zest for an even better taste
