Healthy Chocolate Bunnies with Almond Butter Filling

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3/4 cup almond butter
  • 2 1/2 tbsp maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a bowl in the microwave, stirring every 15 seconds.

  2. Add half of the melted chocolate to the pans, which should be sprayed with nonstick spray, filling about one-third of each cup. Place in the freezer until hardened.

  3. In another bowl, mix the almond butter and maple syrup together with a spoon.

  4. Once the chocolate is hard, add the almond butter mixture and flatten it with a knife. Then, add the remaining chocolate on top. Freeze until ready to eat.
