Healthier Chocolate Bunnies

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3/4 cup almond butter
  • 2 1/2 tbsp maple syrup

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave, stirring every 15 seconds.

  2. Add half of the melted chocolate to bunny-shaped pans, filling them about one-third of the way up. Optionally, spray the pans with nonstick spray beforehand.

  3. Place the pans in the freezer until the chocolate hardens.

  4. In another bowl, mix together almond butter and maple syrup using a spoon.

  5. Once the chocolate in the pans has hardened, add the almond butter mixture and use a knife to flatten it out, filling up the cups.

  6. Pour the remaining melted chocolate on top of the almond butter mixture.

  7. Freeze the bunnies until ready to eat.
