Fluffy Vegan Waffles with Sparkling Water

Ingredients

  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 125 g vegan butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 250 ml vanilla-flavored soy milk
  • 175 ml sparkling water
  • a little vegan butter for the waffle iron

Preparation

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt for the batter

  2. Beat vegan butter with sugar

  3. Add the flour mixture, soy milk, and sparkling water, and stir until smooth

  4. Heat the waffle iron

  5. Grease both sides of the waffle iron

  6. Place about 2 tablespoons of batter into the hot waffle iron, close the iron, and bake the waffle until golden brown for about 2-3 minutes

  7. Remove the finished waffle from the waffle iron and bake the remaining batter similarly

  8. The batter makes about 10 vegan waffles
