Quick and Easy Vegan Oat Scones

Ingredients

  • 300g all-purpose flour
  • 50g rolled oats
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 45g sugar (optional)
  • 75g room temperature margarine
  • 200ml oat milk
  • Salt

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, rolled oats, baking powder, and sugar (if using).

  2. Cut the room temperature margarine into cubes and add it to the dry ingredients. Mix the margarine into the dry ingredients using your hands until crumbs form.

  3. Pour in the oat milk and mix until a dough has formed.

  4. Shape the dough into 4-5 scones and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  5. Bake the scones in the oven at 250°C (482°F) for 9-10 minutes, until they are golden brown.

  6. Once baked, remove the scones from the oven and let them cool slightly before enjoying.
