Fruity Chocolate Orange Cake
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups flour
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
- 6 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/3 cup rapeseed oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- Powdered sugar
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Grease a cake tin.
In a bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients.
Add the orange juice, rapeseed oil, apple cider vinegar, orange zest, and vanilla to the bowl. Mix well.
Transfer the mixture to the greased cake tin.
Bake for about half an hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes.
Remove the cake from the tin and let it cool completely.
Sprinkle powdered sugar over the cooled cake.
