Hearty Vegan Spaghetti Nolognese with Garlic Bread
Ingredients
- onions
- garlic
- two vegan burgers
- italian herbs
- oregano
- tomato passata
- water
- sea salt
- pepper
- cornstarch slurry
- slices of long fermentation loaf
- vegan butter
- fresh garlic
- olive oil
- parsley
Preparation
Sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
Fry two vegan burgers with the onions and garlic.
Add italian herbs, extra oregano, tomato passata, water, sea salt, and pepper.
Thicken the sauce with a cornstarch slurry.
Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
For garlic bread, sauté fresh garlic in a little olive oil.
Spread vegan butter on slices of long fermentation loaf.
Sprinkle the sautéed garlic, parsley, and sea salt on the bread.
Bake or broil the garlic bread until golden and crispy.
