Simple Vegan Pasta with Tomato and Basil

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Pinch chili flakes
  • 1/2 onion small dice
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 medium garden tomato rough chop
  • 3 tbsp fresh basil julienned
  • Sea salt and cracked pepper
  • Vegan parm

Preparation

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions and drain.

  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

  3. Add chili flakes, diced onion, and minced garlic; sauté until softened.

  4. Stir in chopped tomato and cook until it breaks down into a sauce.

  5. Mix in julienned basil, sea salt, and cracked pepper.

  6. Toss the sauce with the cooked spaghetti and sprinkle with vegan parm before serving.
