Simple Vegan Pasta with Tomato and Basil
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Pinch chili flakes
- 1/2 onion small dice
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 medium garden tomato rough chop
- 3 tbsp fresh basil julienned
- Sea salt and cracked pepper
- Vegan parm
Preparation
Cook spaghetti according to package instructions and drain.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add chili flakes, diced onion, and minced garlic; sauté until softened.
Stir in chopped tomato and cook until it breaks down into a sauce.
Mix in julienned basil, sea salt, and cracked pepper.
Toss the sauce with the cooked spaghetti and sprinkle with vegan parm before serving.
