Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Maple Tamari Glaze

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Brussel sprouts
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Tamari
  • 1/2 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 Lemon, juiced
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F

  2. Cut brussel sprouts in half or quarters if too big and add to a mixing bowl

  3. Add olive oil, Tamari and maple syrup and mix together to assure brussel sprouts are coated evenly

  4. Add in garlic powder, salt and pepper and toss to incorporate well

  5. Bake for 22-28 minutes depending on how crispy you’d like them

  6. Once they are done, remove from oven and drizzle with a bit of lemon juice

  7. Serve in a salad, stir-fry or with rice, potatoes and your choice of protein

Notes

  1. Brussel sprouts are rich in Vitamin C, K, folate, carotenoids and fiber
