Saffron Golden Milk Drink
Ingredients
- 1 cup plant-based milk (options: coconut, oat, almond)
- 0.5 tsp ground turmeric
- 0.5 tsp ground ginger
- 0.25 tsp ground cardamom
- 15-20 strands saffron (about 0.1g)
- pinch of black pepper
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or agave syrup
Preparation
Pour the milk into a pot on medium heat.
Crumble the dry saffron strands with your fingers and add to the milk together with the rest of the spices.
Let simmer for 2-3 minutes and take off the heat.
Stir in the syrup, pour into cups.
