Spicy Steamed Dumplings with Vegetables
Ingredients
- 2 lbs bok choy, julienned
- 1 package wonton or dumpling wrappers
- 1 box firm tofu, mashed
- 1/4 cup sauteed mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon black bean sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Spicy sauce
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons chili oil with chili crumbs
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon Chinese black vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Preparation
Mix the filling ingredients together to form a cohesive mixture.
Fill each dumpling wrapper with the mixture and seal the edges.
Steam the dumplings for 10-15 minutes until fully cooked.
Whisk the spicy sauce ingredients in a bowl until sugar dissolves.
Serve the steamed dumplings with the prepared spicy sauce.
