Vegan Avocado Basil Pesto
Ingredients
- Half of a ripe avocado
- Handful of spinach leaves (washed)
- Handful of fresh basil leaves
- 1 clove of minced garlic
- Juice of half a lemon
- 30g of walnuts
- 2-3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- Salt and pepper to taste
Optional additions
- Onions (to taste)
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients in a blender.
Blend until smooth.
If the consistency is not pesto-like, add a bit of water and blend again.
Tips
You can add more ingredients to make it even more delicious.
Use the sauce to make pesto pasta or as a vegan meal idea.
