Vegan Red Hot Chili Sauce

Ingredients

  • 5-6 cloves of garlic
  • 1 1/2 medium sized peppers
  • 30g coriander leaves and stems
  • 2 Tbsp cumin and coriander powder or 1 Tbsp of each
  • 1 Tbsp sweetener or any sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1-2 Tbsp chunky peanut butter
  • 1 jalapeño pepper
  • A couple of cubes of ice
  • Water as needed for blending

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth, adding water to achieve the desired consistency.

Tips

  1. Add ice cubes to help preserve the color of the sauce.

  2. This sauce yields about 500ml and can be frozen for later use.
