Banana Cookie Dough Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 tbsp almond butter
- 1/2 tbsp chocolate chips
- 1 chopped date
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup plain Lifeway kefir
- 1 tsp vanilla
- sprinkle of salt
Optional
- scoop of vanilla protein
Preparation
Ensure the banana is chopped into coins and frozen. Chop the date into small pieces.
In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend.
Adjust the texture by adding more liquid or ice depending on preference.
Enjoy topped with additional nut butter or gluten-free chocolate granola. Feel free to add vegetables like chopped spinach or cooked cauliflower rice.
