Chickpea Dumplings to Plump Up Monday

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chickpea flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2/3 teaspoon garam masala
  • A dash of water to create a batter consistency

Preparation

  1. Boil some water in a pot before beginning.

  2. Combine all dry ingredients together.

  3. Add 1/4 cup of water and stir until you achieve a soft dough consistency.

  4. Transfer the dough to a cutting board, roll it into a log, and cut it evenly into dumplings.

  5. Gently place the dumplings into the boiling water, lower the heat, and simmer without a cover for 15-30 minutes until firm.

  6. Serve the dumplings with curry, coconut yogurt, salad, rice, or enjoy them alone.
