Vegan Buff-Barb Chickpea Tofu
Ingredients
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 3 cups water
- couple pinches of salt
Preparation
Boil 1.5 cups water
Mix remaining 1.5 cups water and flour until you get a thick batter, using a whisk
Add flour mixture into boiling water
Stir continuously and mix out any lumps with a whisk for 8-10 minutes
Cook out the flour taste
Once you have a thick consistency, turn off heat
Line 8x8 pan with parchment paper or coat with oil
Transfer batter to pan and set for one hour in fridge minimum
When ready, take out and season or slice up to your choosing
