Delicious and Quick Glazed Mushrooms Dish

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mushrooms
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp tamari
  • 1 tbsp cornflour

Preparation

  1. Cook the mushrooms in a saucepan of boiling water until softened, for about 5-7 minutes.

  2. Meanwhile, add the onion to a non-stick frying pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

  3. Then add the tomato paste together with the mushrooms and sauté for a couple more minutes.

  4. Next, pour in the water together with the tamari and cornflour.

  5. Stir for 3-4 minutes over medium heat to allow the sauce to thicken.
