Easy Peanut Sauce for Noodle Dishes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup natural unsweetened crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp coconut aminos or soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup or agave nectar
  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil, omit if #oilfree
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4" piece of fresh ginger
  • 1 Tbsp hot sauce or a pinch of wasabi, optional

Preparation

  1. Use a mini blender for a creamy texture or finely chop the garlic and ginger if whisking.

  2. Blend or whisk all ingredients together until smooth.

  3. For a kid-friendly version, omit hot sauce and add it individually to plates if desired.
