Easy Turkish Oily Pepper Pickle

Ingredients

  • 500 grams horn peppers
  • Slightly less than 1 cup vinegar
  • Slightly less than 1 cup vegetable oil
  • Slightly less than 1 cup water
  • 7-8 cloves garlic
  • Salt

Preparation

  1. Put all the liquids in a pot and stir once.

  2. When the mixture boils, add the peppers cut into two or three pieces and the garlic, and cook for 4-5 minutes.

  3. Do not cook longer than five minutes to keep the peppers crisp.

  4. Transfer the peppers to a jar and pour the liquid from the pot over them.

  5. Allow the jar to cool to room temperature, then seal it and refrigerate.

  6. After two hours, the pickle is ready to serve.
