Easy Turkish Tomato Pickle
Ingredients
- 2 kg tomatoes
- 500 g chili peppers
- 1 head garlic
- 3 tablespoons sea salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon salt
- 1 tea glass olive oil
- 1 tea glass vinegar
Preparation
Wash the tomatoes, chili peppers, and garlic thoroughly
Prepare the vegetables by chopping or slicing as desired, or leave whole if preferred
In a bowl, mix the sea salt, lemon salt, olive oil, and vinegar to create the pickling mixture
Pack the prepared vegetables tightly into clean jars
Pour the pickling mixture over the vegetables, ensuring they are fully covered
Seal the jars tightly and store in a cool, dark place for fermentation
Allow to pickle for several weeks before consuming, and it can be stored for up to two years
