Simple Garlic and Green Pepper Pickled Cucumbers

Ingredients

  • 1 kg small cucumbers
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 5 cups boiling water
  • 5 tablespoons coarse salt
  • 1 cup white vinegar

Preparation

  1. Bring a suitable jar for the amount of cucumbers.

  2. Using a knife, make slits in the cucumber pieces, place the cucumbers packed in the jar, and add garlic and pepper.

  3. Add salt and vinegar to the water and stir with a fork until the salt dissolves completely.

  4. Pour the water and salt mixture over the cucumbers and close the jar tightly.

  5. Place the jar in a cool, dry place for 2 to 3 weeks until the cucumbers are pickled, then serve.
