Simple Garlic and Green Pepper Pickled Cucumbers
Ingredients
- 1 kg small cucumbers
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 5 cups boiling water
- 5 tablespoons coarse salt
- 1 cup white vinegar
Preparation
Bring a suitable jar for the amount of cucumbers.
Using a knife, make slits in the cucumber pieces, place the cucumbers packed in the jar, and add garlic and pepper.
Add salt and vinegar to the water and stir with a fork until the salt dissolves completely.
Pour the water and salt mixture over the cucumbers and close the jar tightly.
Place the jar in a cool, dry place for 2 to 3 weeks until the cucumbers are pickled, then serve.
